2=3=4>8>5>6=7>>>9 I've never played the GBA or DS games. I'm glad they stopped with the yearly MP games because they got really stale on the Gamecube. 8 had some cool boards quite a few new mini games that were mostly decent but then that got ruined with 9 which finally changed a lot but not for the better. I really didn't like the moving together in the car thing.
Well,Mario Party is one of my favorite games. Thank you for reminding me of Nintendo wii. hm...it's not only funny but can also lose weight! ha-ha-ha... I know they each have different boards and mini games (well, sort of), but for the most part they are very interchangable games. The only two I really enjoyed out of the whole series (I havent played the handheld games or 9 yet) were the first and 3. Other then that the whole series is a bit stale imo.
2 annd 5 were my favourite. like come on guys! 5 was friggin awesome, i owned it and all i can rmr now are the nostaligiac moments... ahhhh good times :)
I always had a soft spot for the original MP, even though it was so abusive to the control sticks. I got it for xmas one year with quest 64 and it was one of the first N64 games I actually owned.
I liked playing the 1 player mini game campaign thing on the original Mario Party, but 2 and 3 hold the best memories for me. As a teen my parents and friends were close, so we could always get 4 players together to have big 50 turn games. So many feuds over stolen stars, alliances, etc. lol.
