Best Nintendo 64 game.

It was a decision with Super Mario 64, Star Fox 64, and Super Smash Bros. The best Nintendo 64 for me is probably Super Mario 64.

Banjo Kazooie by far for me.

cant decide between zelda oot or goldeneye

For me:

1) Banjo Tooie.
2) Super Mario 64.
3) Ocarina of Time.

Ummm... Is someone forgetting about Ocarina of Time? :P

Perfect Dark. Best FPS for the console period IMHO. Goldeneye was super awesome, don't get me wrong, but PD had the same gameplay but more refined with more everything. Rare games in general are bar none in quality for the system. OoT is superb as well.

Probably Super Mario 64

Honestly 2 Best games I've ever played. Perfect Dark for the reason was because I really like goldenye and I liked cooperative games. Perfect Dark had everything I dreamed of having in a video and played that hours on end.

Tie between Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark.

Although Perfect Dark was better than Goldeneye in most aspects, they were each absolutely incredible in their own special ways. They just don't make games like those anymore.

Ahh its too hard to pick! so many great games! well mine would be OOT, Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, Smash Bros and Goldeneye. While Perfect Dark was pretty much superior to goldeneye, I still like goldeneye better.

The reason they don't make them like that anymore is because Goldeneye and Perfect Dark are terrible games by today's standards. The controls are so horrible that the games are practically unplayable. I loved goldeneye and other N64 shooters just as much as anyone else back in the 90's, but trying to go back and play them now is impossible.

IMO there's really no contest for the best N64 game. It was OoT. The gameplay and controls still hold up today and considering that it's widely considered to be the best game ever made it would be absurd to say that any other N64 game bests it (although if you don't consider OoT to hold that kind of status then I suppose you're free to name any other game as the best N64 game). Personally the only other games I would even think of considering for the title of best N64 game are Super Mario 64 (still a great game), LoZ:MM, and Banjoe Kazooie.

Without a doubt Mystical Ninja 2 Starring Goemon, its also one of the very few titles i think still hold up well on the system, the other being Yoshi's Story.

Mario Kart 64 and GoldenEye (though it has ages terribly whereas MK is still fun to play).

And Ocarina of Time.

Out of those, probably Super Mario 64. But overall, I think Perfect Dark takes the cake.

Back in the day I would have chose Goldeneye but I dont find it very good anymore. So my choice is Super Mario 64. Still a great game

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is not only my favorite N64 game of all time, but my favorite game of all time. It had the best atmosphere, art design, music, and gameplay of any game in my opinion. And its world felt more realistic to me than Liberty City. I love that game.
