Best non mario game on nes/snes

The best non mario game on nes would have to be megaman and on the snes I would say donkey kong country (or ninja turtles:turtles in time)

What do you guys think?

On NES it's gotta be Bubble Bobble for me, if that counts.

On SNES, SUPER METROID!

Bionic Commando, Metal Gear, Faxanadu, Kid Icarus, Metroid, the TMNT games, Tecmo Bowl, Mega Mans, Ghost and Goblins, Wizards and Warriors, Zelda 1 and 2 (2 being my favorite in the series) the list goes on and on...

On the SNES:

Super Metroid, Super Ghosts and Goblins, Act Raiser, and a ton of others as well.
