Best quality console I have played in my years?
Well, there is Game Boy w/ games like:
Bomber Boy
Pocket Bomberman
Bomberman GB2
Bomberman GB3
Gameboy advance, w/ these very fine titles:
Bomberman Tournament
Bomberman Max 2
Bomberman Jetters
And the amazing Nintendo DS which has several good games as well:
Bomberman DS
Bomberman Land Touch!
Bomberman Land Touch! 2
Bomberman Story DS
So as you can see, many handheld consoles have best high quality too!
But those aren't home consoles. And where's Bomberman Max 1.....Best quality console I have played in my years?

Best quality cosnole I have played in my years? I'm going to have to go with the SNES or toploading NES... As far as Bomberman titles go, I think there was one or two? Maybe I am thinking of Mighty Bombjack... lmao.. Anyways though, if we are excluding Bomberman then, yeah.. what I said before.
The NES is my favorite of all-time. It's the console that really made me fall in love with gaming. I did have an Atari 2600 before it, but I had no more than a 15-20 minute attention span on it. Gaming got a much needed injection of adrenaline with the NES and the industry hasn't slowed down since.
So many great games on the NES, and many I'm still discovering to this day.
The reliability of the hardware isn't so great, but us NES veterans know all the tricks to get them to work.
Best quality console to me would be the Dreamcast. It was way ahead of its time and it has one of the best game catalogs in recent memory. Power Stone, Jet Set Radio. Shenmue, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Crazy Taxi, Phantasy Star Online, and Ikaruga are all some of my favorite games ever. Although I will admit the DC is losing a bit of it's appeal to me since a ton of its games are ported to current gen consoles.
The PS2 without a doubt, however the Dreamcast is also a high quality system.

This is a very unusual claim to see in past tense system boards. Did you start gaming this gen? if not, I would like to know why you think this, something I rarely see.nintendo 3ds or nintendo wii

I started gaming in 1992 so no, I didn't start gaming this gen. I realize it's debatable as to whether the PS2 is a legacy comsole yet considering it's still technically supported and produced, however it is mostly accepted on here that it's a legacy console. Even if it was not, no other console had a more diverse or high quality library of games, past or present. The Dreamcast, while much smaller in the amout of games available for it, pound for pound has one of the best libraries as well.

it's hard not to consider it a top five console on any list. It's my number 1.
