Best video game boss ever?

I'm going with a two way tie between Quadraxis from Metroid Prime 2 and Zant from Twilight Princess.

Theres so many its impossible to choose for me.

But any boss metroid prime, ocarina of time, MGS series are worthy of being named the best boss in video game history.

Sephiroth was pretty cool.

Kefka was just PURE evil.

The flying serpent from Shadow of The Colossus was pretty awesome, but I have a hard time picking favorites, and I've seen a lot of sick bosses.

And I'm tapping my heel in anticipation for "SEPHIROTH IS THE BEST BOSS EVER HANDS DOWN." It's coming.

And I'm four minutes late. Please excuse anything I've said in the past few hours.

The End from MGS3: Long but very fun and interesting.

Like someone else said before, the Hydra from God of War. The whole thing screamed badass.

The majority of the boss fights in Shadow of the Colossus.

Oh boy, memorable boss fight...

Hoodoo Brown from GUN. You fight through a legion of his goons, Infiltrate his casino through an underground tunnel/whorehouse located in a chinese laundry, save your buddy from being tortured, burn down said casino, he holes himself up in his office where he duals you with his pistols and goes down like any good boss does, by throwing himself through a window.

I think my all time favorite is still Ganondorf in Ocarina of Time.

For some reason it by far felt the most epic out of any game I have played so far when it comes to final battles.

Ganondorf is always epic as hell.

Tyrrant in the original Resident Evil.

I didn't like RE4 much but it had some cool bosses though.

I really enjoyed Hydrus from Shadow of The Colossus.

Sorry my fav has to be the Hive Mind from Dead Space, that thing was just huge Oo I felt like it would decide to stop **** around and finally bite me in two as I was playing, but alas it was not so...He was really easy to kill which was a shame, concidering how badass he looked

Seven Force from Gunstar Heroes.

Pretty much any boss from the paper mario series, since for the most part, they always seem to have awesome music.

Any boss from No More Heroes, for the same reason above, but also because they were just simply fun fights.

And also the Ganondorf battles from Ocarina of Time, Wind waker, and Twilight Princess, all fro the pure epic-ness!

Mike Tyson, Punch Out!

psyco mantis from the first mgs! It was so cool when he told you what you had been playing, and the controller switching to beat him was a good idea. Plus every enemy in Shadow of the Collosus.

Letz Shake from No More Heroes. I mean, wow...

And joking aside, Sephiroth was a pretty darn cool boss.

While technically nota boss, I liked fighting Emerald Weapon from FFVII, I also liked (even though I didnt care to finish him off at around 10 million hp left) Yiazmat from FFXII, Nemesis from FFX was also very cool. And as of recently, the epic fight(s) with Wesker from Resident Evil 5.

I liked fighting him. What's really satifying in an RPG is when your party is just barely hanging on, and you kill the boss with a limit break. I beat Sephiroth with Omnislash with little HP left. It was intense.

And the giant spider/crab thing in RE5, epic.

That dude from Quest for Glory 4, the only way to beat him was to tell him the ultimate joke.

Hydra from God of War was amazing. I loved the sense of scale.Vinolence

King K. Rool from Donkey Kong Country, mainly because I love the music. And Jafar from Aladdin on Genises. Fighting on a giant snakes back for the win. And the Giant Wedding Cake boss from Super Mario RPG was pretty,ahem, sweet.

Same here. It wasn't that hard of a battle for me, but it was still a pretty epic battle.
