I used to keep my games in a CD Wallet (like Case Logic) that has plastic sleeves with foam padding. But I noticed that it scratched my games, especially PS1 games... What's the best way to store games not in their game cases like when you want to be able to carry them places with you? Something that will not scratch them! What do you do?

I keep mine in a CD wallet, too. I don't have problems with my games getting scratched. Maybe you should get a new one.

I just keep the discs in their cases unless I take some of them somewhere, then I put them in a CD wallet-thing.

Is your cd wallet foam incredibly soft or just somewhat soft? Anyone else have any advice? I wonder if putting them in upside down would help...

I just use a big binder. Got it at Circut City on clearance. Like 320 spots, its massive.

Anyone use anything different than a CD case or binder? It ruined my mint copy of FF 7 :(

I use a CD wallet from Vaultz and it hasn't scratched my games yet. The pages in them do have a soft padding.

I've only stored PS2 games in them however, not sure if PS1 games would be affected differently.

I will never buy games digitally as long as it is possible not to. No way.

I use a metal box that has these dangling sleeves that hold the games. I'm sorry that I'm not sure what the correct name is, but I believe they are commonly used by DJs to store their music CDs for quick mixing and setups. Try hitting up eBay with CD box storage or something similar. I find them super reliable and sturdy, not to mention cheap for what they can hold. Hope that helps.
