Biggest Problem with MW2

I just got done playing a few games of MW2 and got thinking about what makes me not as into it as past FPS's that I've played. The biggest thing for me is the matchmaking system and how they have really no effect to put you into games with people of equal skill. I'm better then the people that its been putting me in games with because my KDR is 2.19, but no matter how many multiple prestiges I see they also always have some starting low level (5) players in the match. The ranking system really means nothing because I stomp on most of the Multi Prestiges that I've played with. I loved the Halo 2 ranking + matchmaking system because if I played better it would start putting me against better people, but this just randomly throws me into any player that is on and I hate it for that.

From an Elitest stand point this is a horrible thing because the best way to get better is to play people that are better then you and to not give up. This leads me to a problem. I like to play for a point (to get better), but how am I going to get better if half the people I'm facing are far worse then me. I just stomp kids and while its fun I like close matches a lot more because I feel like I can take things away from the game that will help me next time I get into that situation.

If I'm wrong and there really is a ranking system that the matchmaking system uses to put you in games please tell me because I play in any given night 10th prestiges and low level starter and it bothers me.

Does anyone agree with me or am I the only one that feels this way? If I'm being an Elitest jerk please tell me

no, the biggest problem with MW2 is One man army, noobtubes, lightweight, commando and shotguns thats all anybody ever uses anymore. i seriously cant wait until they change it so one man army doesnt resupply noobtubes, now they just need to change commando from an invincible knife lunge from 30 feet to being able to throw frags,c4,semtex, knives further.

What he said. Seriously your complaining about the match making system while there is so much other things to complain about for that game. I don't really see the point of this theard (no offensive). I get your point though. Sinceits stacks you by rank # even if your pass persitige and they don'tconsider KD into it and skill level. But the way you are saying is like that your so good that the matchmaking system can't put you on a hard enough game

Biggest problem with Call of Duty is that its been almost the exact same game since COD2. They've slaughtered what used to be a great series.

It makes it a lot easier to just play with friends. The real problem with MW2 are the kill streaks. they really promote way too much camping. It's good that they created the barebones game type. That helps a bit. But still..

the biggest problem with mw2 is the killstreaks and perks

i remember when i played that game you could have a harrier and chopper in the air at the same time i got spawned killed like 12 times in a row

2 air vehicles+ bad spawn points= the big problem

that has a terrible formula fo multiplayer gaming
