The past week or so, in preparation for Dead Space 2 I have been in a horror/thriller gaming mood. I have been playing a few of my favorites, which include Bioshock, Dead Space and Resident Evil amongst a few others. I started wondering; if the plotline for any of these titles was a reality which scenario would I be able to survive in the best and why. Thinking about it for a bit, I've come to the conclusion that I would probably choose Resident Evil. Mainly because the thought of being in deep space or the ocean floor makes whatever's happening around me seem just that much scarier. I don't claim to be a tough guy at all and most likely no matter what game's story I was in I would probably crap myself, and crap myself a lot. Honestly, Resident Evil doesn't really scare me as much as the other two titles; I think that's because of where it takes place. That and the male characters in the Resident Evil series always have a hot chic with them to help with the murdering of zombies. Besides, it's not as if you can just swim out of Rature or walk out of the Ishimura but you can always hop on a plane and get the crap out of wherever those freaking zombies are. Also the Dead Space Necromorphs and Bioshock's Splicers and Big Daddies are scarier than zombies, in my opinion. So I was just wondering what game would you choose out of these three and why? Michael

Me being a manly man, don't find any of them scary. That being said I reckon the best chance of surviving one of those scenarios would be in Resident Evil. In a DS scenario you're ****ed. At least regular zombies could be stopped. Also, drug abuse is bad.

Yeah RE is the best option here I think, although Bioshock may not be too bad because big daddy's tend to leave you alone and there is an abundance of cream cakes and crisps laying about.

I dunno, I think being able to shoot lightning bolts out of your hands and being able to stop rockets in mid air and slingshot them back at your enemies instantly raises your chances of survival dramatically in any situation haha. So I would have to go with Bioshock.

Resident Evil would be the most likely scenario. You could always just run away. That wouldn't work in Silent Hill, Bioshock or Dead Space since you're trapped in your surroundings. Also, in real life there's no continue function. It's pure hardcore setting.
