So I need a new game. Two great ones are available between this week and next. Which do you think will yield a better all-around experience?

Bioshock looks excellent if a bit short (15-20 hours). I'm buying it.
Metroid 3? It's unreviewed. I have high expectations but I'm sure not going to make a recommendation based on that.

after echoes i am wary of metroid. sad to say but i am. its all wait and see for me. ill still play both on gamefly if nothing else, but will i buy either? hmm. metroid is beginning to feel more like a shooter and less like a zelda type exploring game with shooting elements. bioshock looks great and all, but would i play it more than once?

I will definetely be getting both, but I'm getting Bioshock first as the demo was amazing, and it has recieved nothing but AAA or AAAA scores

They both look awesome and both deserve to be bought.

Personally I think Bioshock will be better, but MP3 will kick butt aswell.

Ah it's a joy to be a Wii60 person :)

Get both! Or get Bioshock, because that might be better. It'll blow away your expectations. Metroid does look awesome though, if still keeping with the same formula.
