Blogs: How od they work on here?

Uh, what do you mean? You write a blog and it stays on your profile. If you have any added friends they will see it in their activation feed and/or notifications, maybe depending on settings but I'm not really sure since I don't know many active bloggers or blog much myself anymore ever since the site overhaul a couple years ago.

Also you have the option to post blogs to Forums, which is what you did. Granted, this is the Games Discussion Forum. But there you go.
