Buy a console. No, this is not starting a console/PC war. You have a lot of options on all the system and on the PC, but one reason to why I stay away from PC is because when new games came out, I have to update something on my PC to make sure it is compatable. If it isn't, then I just wasted money. Obviously this is my opinion.

If you like old school JRPGs, get a DS. Tons of great ones on there.

Not worry you can still enjoy some high-quality oldies. Try first two Fallouts, Arcanum, Gothic II, Icewind Dale just for starters.

Do you have an iPad or iPod touch? You can buy some Final Fantasy games on there, I think a couple of them are free.

Do you mind it being a MMO? If not try Drakensang Online, a Diablo-style massively multiplayer hack and slash. I hear it has really low requirements. Ragnarok Online has hack&slash gameplay as well, but has cartoony graphics. It is guaranteed to work, though. Oh, i just remembered a good Single Player: "Dungeon Siege 2". Great game with low requirements which i recommend you play LAN with friends if you get the chance.

You could always try buying old RPG games from back in the late 90's early 2000's when PC's of that low spec where quite common. I had to use a computer with the exact same spec as yours recently and all I could manage to play on it were games like TES: Arena and Age Of Empires 1.
