I really hate it when im playing a game, and suddenly a random character pops up and wants to fight me (For example most of the bosses from the Devil may cry series)

What I like is when I get to fight a character who has been around in the story from the begginning doing really bad things. So by the time I fight him, I really want to kill it.

So do you have any game suggestions for me, Id try any genre, as long as the boss fight are against characters that really mean something to the story.

For example a "DIIIEE!!" boss fight was against Seymour in FFX, I knew he had done bad things and now Im fighting him to get rid of him.

But the final boss in Dmc3 was different, I just wanted to fight Vergil, I didnt really care story-wise. I thought that fighting him would be cool and that was it.

In God of War 2, you mostly fight characters who are from the greek mythology, they havent done anything bad besides getting in your way

Any suggestions?

I have Mgs3, the Cobra Unit is awesome and all but they only show up for pre-boss cutscenes. I wanted to fight Ocelot because he was just annoying, and I really DIDNT want to fight the final boss.

I had Mgs2, and had the same problem, i just fought characters who I had met, not some big evil-doers who just need to be killed. (With the exception of Solidus, he was rather evil)

In most RPGs I take the enemies mostly as "Just another bad guy" enemies who I just want to kill are pretty rare to me, so can you be more specific which title I should check out.

FF7's story was about Sephiroth who was THE boss

KotOR is excellent game which has a great boss who had the same pathway you had since Siths were Jedis once...

these come to my mind at first glance

or Resident Evil 3: Nemesis which has the main enemy Nemesis that appears more than once

Everyone who has fought and beaten the Star Ocean 2nd Story-Boss will know what it means to scream "DIE ALREADY!" and "NO!THIS TIME YOU WON´T GET A CHANCE TO DO THIS ATTACK!"

Off the top of my head, Kefka from Final Fantasy VI. Just the stuff you witness him do makes him truly despicable; the most notable ones being *FF6 SPOILERS*
Poisoning the entirety of Doma Castle against orders, the straight up murder of General Leo, the betrayal and murder of Emperor Gestahl, how he basically **** up the entire world, and then toying with it by randomly destroying towns with his 'light of judgement'
There are very few antagonists that I hate more than Kefka.

The first time I fought Cerberus in God of War I was pulling my hair out with frustration and probably broke more than one controller. I hated that boss.

Mario 64's final Bowser was surprisingly special for me. The game (at least back when I was 8 or 9 lol) was just epic and it took so long for me to get to Bowser. Plus the music in the pre-Bowser area and everything just set the tone so well... Unlike the last 2 Mario games, 64 just plain compelled me.

And then there's always Ocarina's Ganon/dorf.

**Spoilers**
OH! And RE4's Saddler! After he killed Luis, not only did I scream LUIS!!! along with Leon, but I also vowed revenge.|
The Black Knight from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance as well (actually that game had a few bosses worth getting to know before you thrashed them).

This ones kinda not directly revealed to being a boss 'till later in the game... but...
Clyde
in Army of Two is the only one who comes to mind.... He was a pretty annoying person.

I swear there was another one, though.... Can't remember at the moment.
