Great for DS, wonder what it will play like.

Not sure I'd want to play that style of game on a handheld, but it does look impressive for the DS.

It might be cool if done properly, FPS aiming like Metroid hunters, very PC like. Then the point and click interface might be decent with troop positioning and just tapping to fire your cannon on a target in the tank. Then the mic, if used to the degree of Nintendogs would be great for barking out orders.

I'm pretty excited about this game. If it gets great reviews and plays well than I'll pick it up for sure.

As long it plays as well and smooth as MPH, then the game will be great.

I'm more impressed that gamingeek worked both "action packed" and "spiffy" into the same title.  That's a lot harder than it looks.

I'm impressed. I'm thinking it's going to get decent reviews unless it's too short.

As a set piece by set piece game it could be interesting, but as a fully fledged FPS I don't see it working.

I'll say it once again the DS is boasting the best & most complete lineup out of any console portable or non, too bad I have very very little time for portables.

Kind of a waste when you have a 42 HDTV LCD.

Edit: Plus I hate having to bend my head down to play, it hurts my neck, and is why I stopped using my ipod's video feature.

I'm very glad that Ubisoft is making an original DS-exclusive. And it looks good! Very cinematic, even though it's scripted, but I like it! The helicopter flying above and the tanks roaring above you while under the trenches are a nice touch. The third-person POV might work well with the touch screen controls.

I'm looking forward to this. Hopefully it will spawn numerous sequels and become a Socom Fireteam Bravo-like series for DS fans.

I lay down to play mine and I dont have to bend my neck, and its not really a waste when its the only place to go for fantastic games like Phoenix Wright and Hotel Dusk.... but to each their own. I understand where you are coming from I just dont agree.

Wow looks as good as a Wii titleLaP

 Funny cause it's true, at least compared to some of Ubisofts Wii titles.

Latest update though on Ubisoft, a recent interview (upcoming on wired and reported in their blog) the Ubi guy said that they are:

"absolutely creating Wii-exclusive brands right now, many of them" and that we'd start to see these in calendar year 2008.

http://blog.wired.com/games/2007/06/ubisoft_dogz_ca.html

Ironically the information was divulged while the ubi guy was trying to push Word Coach, Horsez 2 and Petz. I'm not making this up, seriously it was. At least E3 could be interesting.

Then in Der Speigal Alan Corre and Yves Guillemot said that they were going to improve the quality of their wii games as they were unhappy with the raft of cheap ported crap they foisted on Wii. So we can cross our fngers at least.

HiRes, like God mode I mainly play lying down on the sofa or in bed with a large pillow under my neck and cause the screen is so close to your face, the screen size isn't an issue. On the go play can be good with headphones too: because public transport's a *****

Wow that looks very impressive, better then what I was expecting to tell you the truth. The review sounds very good as well. I always get a chuckle when I hear the name Dead 'n Furious. :P

Looks like yet another DS game I'll want to pick up.

It seems like it's well worth a purchase...although I'm unsure if there are any squad mechanics in the game like the console versions as they were not mentioned in the review, oh well.

Besides this is a game that's actually being released in Europe before America  Which is a nice change when other news today says that Elite Beat Agents wont be out untill July, granted it would have been an even better change if Brothers In Arms came out on the same day across regions, but that's just crazy talk.

Wow, those graphics are very impressive.  I may wait for some reviews, but the game looks really cool.  I may pick it up, especially if it has multiplayer.

A shooter. By an American developer. On the DS. And it doesn't have flaws (like MP:H) and doesn't suck (like Touch the Dead and Goldeneye: Rogue Agent).

I seriously hope this brings a new trend. It shocks me that the PSP gets shooters with gimped controls, yet the DS has perfect controls for shooters yet barely gets any that are great.

Although, I haven't played any of the aforementioned shooters, but I heard TTD was mixed, GE:RA was bad and that MP:H had too many flaws to be enjoyable. So hey, YMMV.

I didn't enjoy, MP:H I just can't think why.  The levels just seemed boring, in the Gamecube games I really wanted to just explore the enviroment and didn't care if I found an upgrade or not.  In MP:H, I just didn't feel the desire to do...anything

Metroid has some serious issues with balancing, which is why I gave up on the online play.

Awe man....now I have to get this game!!! :D

The only downer is the length of the campaign...but oh well. It's not like there is another good WWII shooter on the DS, right? ;)

I'm just glad this game is not just a half-baked effort. Even though its a mobile phone game, it looks like the developers put a lot of effort into this. Great!

This is straight out of the twilight zone. A good 1/3-person WWII shooter on a handheld. With touchscreen controls no less!

It's out tomorrow?! Hmm... I want to wait for more reviews before buying or not.
