Burnout Paradise any good?

Although I didn't have much interest in Revenge and Dominator, but Takedown was just awesome. How does Paradise compare to Takedown?

I enjoyed Paradise. It is an open world racer so you go around searching for races and other events. Takedown was a more taditional racer of you choose the race from the menu and play it. There is also no set track in Paradise so you can choose any route to the finish line you wish. It gives you a lot more freedom.

it's not as good... TakeDown was(Striker not included)the best arcade racer ever. I t was what it was. a stage to stage, paractice makes perfect thrill ride. it's no mucking about looking for races and stopping at lights and crap. Leave that open world stuff to the NFS series where it belongs. Takedown is as good as the arcade racer ever could be.

Paradise diluted it and made the playing poorer.

its a pretty cool concept, its pretty easy to get a fair bit of trophies/ achievements from and its fun just to drive around and stuff like that

Great game for cheap... it's a win-win. It's different from previous Burnout's, because it's an open-world racer, but this is a spectacular game. One of the few I haven't traded... because I keep going back to it over the years.
