Call of Juarez, story

So, I wanted to know, if before getting Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, I should get the first installment, Call of Juarez? I'm just asking because of the story, will I understand everything even if I haven't played the first game?

Oh yeah let me explain

You chase and then you kill, sometimes the reverse, that's about it, your all set

The story in the CoJ games are awesome, but Bound In Blood is a prequel, which means you could actually play it before the original.

Despite BiB help you understand better the history, i think there is no need to play it first just for that, you will still understand Call of Juarez.
