Can i play dark souls 2 offline on my 360?

So i haven't played any dark souls game and i don't have a reliable internet connection so ultimately i want to ask that if i can play the full game offline quick replies will be appreciated

@ghost12: Yes but if you can't witness how other people died in areas, and see the community notes, it really takes alot from the games strength. I understand what you mean however, as I'm guessing it's PvP related. Nothing more strange than a lag-battle.
