Wait, do you mean two different accounts playing two different games on one console? If so then no. You could play a game with a friend via splitscreen though. (games like Call of Duty 3 have online multiplayer splitscreen)

No I mean two people playing one game online through one console. So I guess that will work. Would that be possible with one gold membership or does each person need a seperate gold membership to play through the console?

Well certain games allow "guests". So they wouldn't need gold subscriptions. Call of Duty 3 and Halo 3 allow guests. As does Rock Band and Gears of War I believe.

Yes, you can play split-screen with a buddy on one console/one TV while playing with other people online as well. Your buddy simply becomes a guest on your account for example I'm Flames Superior and my buddy is Flames Superior (1). You can see it all the time while playing Halo 3, for example.

Thanks. I'm stoked! Do all split screens allow this or is there a way to tell if the game allows it. For example- Burnout 3 Takedown?

It depends on the game. I know that Halo 3 and Left 4 Dead allow it for sure.
