i was on the eternal sonata website because i'm thinking about getting the ps3 version. i noticed a section on the website for registering your version of the game. i have never in my life filled out that post card thing that usually comes packed with games or gone on-line to register any game i've purchased. am i missing something by not doing that?

Not long ago I registered BF:Bad Company on EA's site and they sent me an e-mail with a tip about the game,It was something like that: "In multiplayer kill your enemies before they will kill you" ... So I say that there are no real benefits.

The purpose of registering is I believe an anti-piracy one, hopefully someone from the industry might answer your good question.

I never ever put my real name or address or date of birth when I fill in any form that does not actually involve me buying something.
