I'm looking for a pretty, casual game for a friend who I know loved all the Peggles, Zumas and Angry Birds (and maxed them all). She also unlocked everything there was to unlock in Plants vs Zombies (and she doesn't like Bejeweled so yeah, PopCap is pretty much fully used :)).

I know that the requirements are cute graphics, not too much emphasis on the plot (she doesn't speak English) and short sessions so that she can play on and off when she has wants to chill for a few minutes, not something with save points every hour :) Not too much demands in regards to the genre.

What would you recommend? So far, I've found Toki Tori and Toki Tori 2 and Critter Crunch. Haven't shown her the trailers yet so don't know whether that's what she's looking for but knowing her, I guess at least one of them should hit the target. Any other recommendations?

Thanks, forgot to mention - the games will be played on a laptop in various scenarios so I'm sure something not needing a mouse to play would be the best (yep, she maxed out Zuma using touchpad only) and regretfully PvZ GW2 falls short in that matter :(

@tigropl Went browsing through my app history. These are all the cartoony-looking games I have ever played, with a low word count. I recommend the website Nitrome for casual, cute, aesthetically pleasing pixel-y flash games. All of the below suggestions are mobile games that might also have PC versions, but I'm not sure. If your friend doesn't mind playing casual cute games on a mobile device then this is the jackpot.

  • Cut the Rope
  • Monument Valley
  • Alphabear
  • Beneath the Lighthouse
  • Ice Breakers
  • The Path to Luma (more artsy than cartoony I guess)
  • Attack the Light
  • Deemo
  • Jetpack Joyride
  • Scribblenauts Remix
  • Katamari Amore
  • Robotek
  • Temple Run

The first game I'd recommend is World of Goo. It's a great physics based game.

Scribblenauts: Unlimited is another one.

Other than those look up:

Battleblock Theater
Lucidity
Awesomenauts
Castle Crashers
Swords & Soldiers HD
Castaway: Paradise
Crashlands

They're all on Steam.
