Character you most wanted to slap

I was sitting here today and Xenosaga happened to pop into my mind. I'm a fan of the series except for one thing...by the end of the 3rd game I couldn't stand listening to that whiney ass Shion anymore. I so wanted to slap that character for being a douche. The same is true with most of the characters in FF9...scratch that...most of the Final Fantasy games. Also, Ashley from Resident Evil 4 was ungodly annoying.

So, what are your opinions on most annoying and unlikable chracters in games? Were there any you just couldn't stand to play as?

Who was the main Character from Tales of the Abyss? I wanted to slap that little **** across the face, so annoying. Main characters like him are why I don't like voice actors.MasterKingMP

i really really hated that blue haired char, fon master ion in TotA..........that sissy......%&#£..................

and master chief. why do i have to save the world in a power rangers costume with really uncooll/annoying nickname Master Chief... the game was already mediocre and that main character............................................................ffs i hate halo

I couldn't think of one until I read the recent GoW2 hype and the above post. SONIC!!! I don't know why, but the little blue fuzz ball that for some reason continues to get work, annoys me to no end...

Yuna from FFX. Whiny, speech-impeded Yuna, who sounded like she was trying to pull off a really bad Marilyn Monroe impression while delivering dialogue handed to her on individual cue cards while the mic was on.

Marshall Winters (I'm probably remembering this wrong, he was the Jailbreak dude from World of Warcraft) needed a good solid slap since he was dead set on getting your entire party killed with his suicidal antics.

Probably the DJ from Burnout Paradise. Also, Dwayne from GTAIV. I love almost every single aspect of that game and 99% of the characters. Ugh, but Dwayne...

I don't regret letting him live, but he is so damn annoying. Every time you can't hang out with him he starts **** and complaining.

Anyhow, i was quite annoyed with Rikku in FFX-2. Her dialogue was disasterrific.

Vaan yes, Shion yes but have you guys played Stella Deus?

If you have you will know what bad line delivery is, real bad. I felt like throttling each and every one of those damn characters, specially those pacifists who refuse to solve their damn problems, expect you to do it and then blame you for going against the gods. Damn you Lumena and co.

Actually, I change my mind - as annoying as Navi is (I guess I was trying to repress the memory and forgot the name in the process) there are a handful of characters worse:

The entire cast of characters that needs to be saved in Exit.

They have the most grating voices I've ever heard in a videogame, only one or two phrases each depending on whether they have yet to be rescued, are following you, or have been left behind. And they repeat the phrase every bloody ten seconds. I wish it was an exaggeration, but it's not.

I can't believe I forgot about them. They were enough to ruin Exit for me, which would have been a decent game otherwise.

HELP ME WILL YOU! HELP ME WILL YOU! HELP ME WILL YOU!

I REALLY NEED A SHOWER!

I wish the game had a gun so you could execute them instead of bringing them to the exit.

There was that fat guy in FEAR. Man I wish they let me shot him.

The entire cast of NPCs in Hellgate: London are my second choice for all the bad acting and lame jokes told over and over and over.

haha I have to agree on Master Chief and Halo, and also why are Pokemon's trying to take over the world in Halo.

I freakin' hate her. She makes me want to cut my wrists. My friend and I would actually cheer when she got kidnapped by the "zombies". Also, we purposely killed her...alot

definately yes. the tales of... series has some horrible voice actors. i didnt know if i wanted to turn the volume down or stab out my eardrums so id never risk the chance of hearing something so awful for the rest of my life.

Fon Master Ion wasn't bad. But that little perverted girl on the team, I forget her name, was annoying.

As for my most hated and annoying character...? Any game with cat characters. I just hate cat characters.
