Cheating is alright if you're just stuffing around by yourself. But if you're playing a multiplayer game with your friends, or even online...I don't think it's right. Sure you win, but who really cares? You didn't earn it. Also to all the idiots that play CS with their stupid hacks and stuff up the game for everyone else. Get a life people.
Purpose of playing singleplayer games is to have fun. When game starts to irritate you then it's nothing wrong to use cheats. But using cheats in multiplayer game to gain advantage is unaccetable.
If you cheat by yourself, that's fine. But when it's in multiplayer and no one else is, it's a tad unfair. I like to beat a game first before I look at using some cheats, whether they be to speed up the process the second time round or to add extra things to the game.

well I'll always try and beat a game before resorting to cheats. But we've all been there when you get to tht certain level and no matter what you do or how many times you try you simply cant do it. I'll use cheats then and in games such as GTA cheats can always make things more fun.
But IMO using cheats in any form of multi-player game shouldnt be done.
I love to cheat in singleplayer!! It makes the game eaiser unless I think its already easy. I used cheats in almost every game I play. For multiplayer I don't use thats just wrong. I cheat first before I play the game the normally so I can see how harder it is when I play it the second time.
The only time I cheat is a when a game has a story and I don't like the game i.e. FFXII hated the combat system but used an action replay disc to power through the game Note : After finshed the game thought the story sucked aswell.
