Ashley was a homage to Princess Yorda, I liked her. The new character looks cool. I wonder if she is going to be the second character when one is going through RE5 in co-op?

How was Ashley a homage to Yorda? The only things they had in common were being girls that needed to be escorted. Ashley was just a drawn out escort mission, and an extremely frustrating one at that.

And Toriko42: You're forgetting that Sherry Birkin is in this game, so yes, there will be more escort missions involving helpless girls in this game.

Ummmmmm no thanks. From the looks of it, RE5 is turning out to be a Hollywood adaptation of itself. Just seeing pictures of Chris and this woman makes me think the whole game is going to be overblown and overstylized. Too shiny. There need to be dirty people in dirty situations.Yiekater

The trailer of RE5 didn't suffer from the shininess one sometimes sees in current gen games. Also, I wouldn't be shocked if the protagonists of RE5 found themselves the victims of real-time gore splatter or something.

Me and my dad want to play the game so bad but i'm kinda upset that Rebecca's not int here.but i'm glad sherrys in here.i seen previews of her oyutube man she is awesome.She was always one of my most fav.i don't like how they put a whole new character as chris's partner and which i think Rebecca is his perfect mate that is y think Rebecca should of benn his partner.i know jills dead.never really like jill that much.But i hope Rebecca not dead
