Check out my last gen collection (56k!)

I've been a gamer since the 8-bit days with my NES and Sega Master System. However last gen I kind of fell out of gaming, I had a PS2 but I hardly got any games for it and I missed out on all the big hits. Well Over the last 2-3 years I've gotten back into gaming and despite owning a Wii and a PS3 I've been focusing mainly on getting all the games from last gen that interest me. It's been fun hunting some of thse games down but I still have some more that I want (Ico, Psychonauts, Pikmin 2, Ikaruga, Odin sphere, etc.).

What do you think of my collection, and do you see any titles apart from the ones I listed above that I should check out? Btw, my favorite genre is action-adventure games (i.e. Prince of Persia, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Zelda: Wind Waker, etc.).

I have the English european version. So yes there is an English version, and I use to own the the xbox version as well till I sold it. Both versions were exactly the same. So for you to say downgraded version makes no sense. Plus that "bonus" DVD you get is a joke. All it is are all the FMV from the two games shown one after the other. Both versions of the game are good though. One isn't better then the other. The fact he got it in his collection is a plus no matter what version

Not bad, but does that mean most of your titles are pre-owned? I have a pretty large last gen collection, but no pics lol. They're listed in my profile though.

Not bad at all. My Gamecube collection is slightly better than yours, but you have more Xbox and PS2 games. I don't know about you, but I don't much care for the "player edition/greatest/platinum hits" cases.Bigboi500

Xbox > Dreamcast

I own both and have beaten both numerous times and I think the Dreamcast version is superior.

First off it's the original version so the Xbox version is a port of the Dreamcast game. The timed button presses are much more responsive on the Dreamcast.

Second of all the Japanese voices sound more genuine imo and give you more of a sense of immersion. The vmu unit on the Dreamcast controller also gives you the button combos on the vmu screen.

It all comes down to personal opinion and also the Xbox version is still very nice, but not better imo.

Exatly what I was thinking. It was just you showing me some random guy off the net that shares your opinion. The whole point of this thread though was about his "collection". To be more on topic about which version is better. The dreamcast version would be hands down better. If you think about it , the dreamcast one is more rare by a land slide and is more collectable. Hence, that version would make his collection better :)

MY collection aint that big but you don't have any good games..... well i realy do but you have alot of very bad games..... but many awesome games.xmen1414
