Definately one of my favourite RPGs of all time, too bad my save file got corrupted when I was on the final boss :(
Some day I have to finish that game.
Same with me.Really enjoyed it.Just played it for the first time recently, still worth playing. Did not play any other SNES RPGs though.
G-Lord
Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 4 for SNES and you're goldenWrecked69
FFIV is definately my favourite RPG.I'd say those two, with FFVI as well are the top 3 RPGs for the SNES.
Chrono Trigger...Is not as good as Chrono Cross.
I suppose I should say IMO, but in this case I truly believe CC is the better game.
Final Fantasy VI (or rather Final Fantasy III at the time) is my personal favorite RPG for SNES, but Chrono Trigger is still a fantastic game.Flame_Blade88We have a Winner. FF3 (6) has not been topped, and i doubt it will be.
To me, it was life changing.
...
No lie. I've never been so emotionally gripped by a game like I have Chrono Trigger. It will always have a special place in my heart!
Yes, yes and YES! I wrote a whole blog about how much of an impact the game had on me.
I think this game is on my Top-3 All Time Favourite-list.
Its a great game, but I prefer Secret of Mana/Earthbound.Allicrombie
I don't see why people like Secret of Mana. Me and two of my friends were playing it and it was really fun but the problem is how they don't ever tell you what to do so I found myself stuck and bored and exploring for hours trying to figure out where to go next. Also, the difficulty randomly spiked to ridiculously hard every once in a while for some reason.
Chrono trigger is the best SNES game I've ever played. The story was incredible and the time travel was fun. There are many sidequests that alos add to the game even more. I can't think of anything to make the game better. it's nearly flawless.
I think CT was the first game to utilize the time travel concept, at least in such a huge scale. It blew me away to see such innovative ideas, when they were still new and not over-used like nowadays.

I just remember how disappointed I was in CT's lack of depth. Granted, this was after playing through FFVI, so that might be a little unfair.

I suppose you first heard of/played CT when it was re-released on the DS :D

I actually owned the cartridges for both games on my SNES in the mid 90s.;)
