Classic games that need a sequel or remake.

I know we all have one or two. Of course some might regard such an act as selling out, but I see it a different way. I've got a few classics that I want to come back on the systems of today.

Earthbound, Fallout 1 & 2, and Final Fantasy VII all need remakes, I mean don't completely change them, just update the graphics/some gameplay.

I don't really think any games should be remade...

There were remakes of CT happening by fans, but that got cease-and-desist orders by Square.

I assume that meant more classic than that. Deus Ex just has dated graphics.

I was thinking... Jackal. Rememba Jackal? I would have said Zelda but A link to the past was/is a good remake. It still looks good.

I can't think of any classic games that SHOULD be remade. A remake won't make it better.

Battletoads (for arcade) and Mega Man X 1-3 should at least be ported.CRS98

Mega Man X 1-3 have already been ported to other systems through the MMX Collection.

Edit: Also forgot to mention that MMX1 was redone on the PSP.

Doom II: Hell On Earth/Final Doom ~ Why was Doom 3 a horror game?
System Shock 2 ~ EA controls the IP... but is doing nothing with it.
Thief II: The Metal Age ~ Deadly Shadows was good, but it lost a lot of what made the previous games great
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island ~ needs another game that is just as different to YI as YI was to SMW
Metroid: Fusion ~ Why is Dread still in limbo?
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines ~ Why did Troika have to die? :cry:

Remakes:

TES II: Daggerfall ~ Procedurally generated worlds are hard to come by these days, but we have the technology to make it happen.
V:tMB ~ Needs to have better combat and a less buggy engine (even with unofficial updates its still pretty sketchy at times)
