So I just got COD AW and really like ffa but the only thing bothering me is that I absolutely suck. Sometime I will play well and win a game really well (30-11) but most of the time I just go negative. I try to control one part of the map but always fail and get shot from everywhere. Any tips for me?

Thanks

Yeah... Don't play FFA. Its not a game of skill, all winners just get lucky...

Play in teams... Teams are awesome.

I would say just start by playing TDM. You can learn the maps quickly and get accustomed to some strategies that you can use and also find your favorite guns.

@Thomabsolutely

Well thats what the Campaign is for, and its a terrible teaching tool. Instead of a dedicated learning tutorial exclusively for Multiplayer the best they can do is let you Noob Toob your way through each match, learning the nuances of each mode through trial and error. Does CoD have bots ? If so you can play against them, setting the difficulty as you see fit, this should allow you to learn at your own pace.

Okay so I'm going to try to learn the maps and the hotspots in TDM and then move over to other gamemodes

Thanks!

@thomabsolutely: if the formula is the same COD isn't a team oriented game. You use your teammates as shields and game requires no skill just proper memorization of the spawn points and camp spots.

As far as most non competitive COD matches goes, the key to winning is just adding the dude who gets 30-60 kills per game to your friends list and mooching off of them.
