I wouldn't call these amazing, but they arn't all that bad either. Whats your thoughts on them.

Would you guys stop looking for reasons to hate it? We haven't even seen any gameplay yet. The only similarity between this game and CoD2/3 is the weapons. Treyarch is by NO means a bad developer, they just have to live up to Infinity Ward's standard, which is a hard thing to do. While I do agree it wasn't the smartest thing they've ever done to move back to World War 2, at least they had the decency to change to a different theatre, which has vastly different environments and battles.
Just shut up and wait until we see some gameplay before you guys start yelling at Treyarch for it being "an extremely mediocre generic first person war game."
I find it amazing people are forming they're so serious and important opinions about a game that we've only see a couple of screens for. Call of duty 4 hit the markets as one of the finest FPS' to do so, it's going to be very hard for Treyarch to one up such a fine developer, but they need some sort of support from fans to give them that boost. I'm not saying become some loyal ass-kisser of Treyarch, but simply give them more of a chance, then bashing them for something you have absolutely no idea about.
...and please, stop nitpicking the game so damn much...
"its unrealistic because his clothes are clean"
...wtf, seriously, i can't play now because the clothes are clean, i must be intelligent.

I'm all for taking a "Wait and see approach", but I totally understand the pessimism others have toward the game. Treyarch has not given us any reason to think they are capable of producing a remarkable game. Pretty much everything they've ever done has had a stale quality about it.
It makes a lot of sense to rework the entire COD formula. The last one was so lackluster and poorly recieved. WWII never gets old.Blayde-
I agree, although it wasn't poorly recieved.
Aww, cmon guys, this game is going to be better than cod 4 by a 10-fold. Just because they are going back to their roots doesn't mean you need to bash it. THis cod looks like it is going to be so much more realistic and brutal than other ww2 fps games.vader1231231
So this game is going to be the greatest FPS of all time then? COD4 was a GOTY candidate at every major publication, and therefore if you really believe CoD5 will be that much better than it, then you must also believe that it is going to be the greatest FPS of all-time...I hate to say it, but history just isn't on your side, Treyarch isn't going as bad of a job as everyone thinks since I believe they are just recycling CoD4's engine but c'mon they aren't groundbreakers in any sense of the word.
there will be a sword +_+
there are alot of games to keep me busy . I dont think im gonna get it.

Like they would miss the opportunity to throw a samurai sword in there. It would make some sense for Japanese characters, but that guy wielding it looks American.
