Is anyone getting this game?

Looks fun and the combat is pretty deep from what I hear. The developers are touting this game to have a gameplay experience somewhere between God Of War and Ninja Gaiden. Moreover I quite like the mythos of Conan.

It looks pretty sweet, and I hear the gameplay is similiar to GoW. I'll check it out sometime soon hopefully :)

Exactly. I am awaiting reviews though I have pretty much made up my mind.

There goes my Collector's Edition Stranglehold for the PS3, I had pre-ordered that :(

I really am not sold on this game, since I was one of the few that really was not that impressed by GOW, and furthermore I'm sure this game is gonna get lost in the sea of great games coming out in the next 3 months. PGR4, Mass Effect, Losy Odyssey, COD4, NBA2K8, Eternal Sonata (Still haven't picked it up yet), The Orange Box, and there are alot more which could in fact turn out really good.

It's a genre that's quite natural for me to enjoy and I have loved the Conan mythos and background setting since reading the Conan comics from a very young age. Incredibly subtle and deep for what they were. So I would definitely get the game if I had the console to play it. Chances are I won't though.

I'll probably consider getting this game; I'd have to wait and see how the reviews shape up, but it does look rather fun from the video previews I've seen.

I've submitted interview questions to Nihilistic through THQ on Conan, and when we receive the answers, I'll post up the interview feature over at PSXE. I think it has a lot of potential for a straight-up fun action game, and hopefully, the answers to these questions will make up your mind as to whether or not you want to try it. :)
