Great kart racing game for kids when I played it I had a lot of fun especially if you play it with him 2 player races are really fun and you`re going to have a great time.
i just remeber playing on it and i had alot of fun with it with friends so i just want to show my brother he's getting in to gaming now he's 7-8

its fun if you have friends to play with on this game. but for single player is not that much of fun. this is the only game where i had so much fun beating my friend. setting traps and using different kinds of weapon and all. fun game!
Show him more great PSOne games that he wouldn`t be on of those kids who think bad graphics=bad game.

Gotta agree with this guy. I dislike those gamers out there that only play Halo 3 and Call of Duty and think they're so hardcore. Anything that came out before that is crap to them.
Well to be honest if you're going to get a Crash racing game you should go for the first Crash racing game, Crash Team Racing for the PS1. Now that was a good game. Best kart racer ever by a mile. Hell, its the most fun I've had with any racing game ever. Tag Team racing on the other hand wasn't actually that good imo. It was ok, not great. I think the platforming and cool minigames were nice and the racing was somewhat fun, but I didn't feel the game was really anything special.
Well I'll swear by Diddy Kong Racing. I played that a lot. lol And yes I agree with others, if you are going to introduce games to someone close to you, do it right. Get an emulator or two and have him play some classics.
Yes, always buy a younger kid a retro game first, they won't care much for graphics when they get older. Like I bought my nephew a gameboy to play Mario on. Now he won't even play a ps3 game, cause he says it is to flashy.
But I had most fun with Crash Tag Team racing when I first played it.
