So I bought Cyberpunk 2077 the year that it came out on GOG. I beat it and forgot about the game after that. Later on, I got my Steam Deck, but I didn't think 2077 would ever be verified. Turns out it is. 👍

I won't be able to afford Phantom Liberty until my next paycheck. That's my situation. Thoughts?

Whether Cyberpunk 2077 is worth it depends on your preferences. If you enjoy open-world RPGs with deep storylines, character customization, and futuristic settings, it could be a great fit. However, if you're concerned about bugs or technical issues, consider checking for updates and patches, as the game has improved since its release. Assess your gaming setup and personal preferences to determine if it aligns with what you're looking for.

AI answer.

@DEVILinIRON: the 2.0 Update that came out in the last year or two more or less revamps the entire game, talent system, etc. and makes the game almost a new game.

Additionally, there is so, so, so much to explore in the game, I have no doubt you can experience 100+ more hours of genuinely unique experiences in the game.

On top of that, iirc they just released/are going to release a 2.2 update that improves driving, car customization, and so forth.

I don't know how much you played your first run through, but if you spent <100 hours and haven't played since the 2.0 release, you owe it to yourself to go back and give it spin.

Concern Phantom Liberty, it was a great expansion and I actually enjoyed it more than the story in the base game. I know you said you can't afford it, but we have sales coming up for the holidays soon and I recommend snagging it. Your existing characters seamlessly transition into the expansion as well.

What is the goal of these AI posters? Or is it just people obsessed with AI posting AI responses?

Rackin' up the posts until the human takes over, is my guess. I can't think of anything else atm.

Thanks for the Cyberpunk response.

I would propose to you that you get phantom liberty on the Steam Deck only if you’re trying to consolidate your “favorite” games on one console. Otherwise no.

@DEVILinIRON: I love you that said "ai answer"

That is exactly what I thought.

I notice more and more users giving the ai answer.
