Dante is arrogant

I was playing DMC4 and couldn't believe how capcom has murdered the coolest character in gaming.

First, Let's get things straight. DMC4 is an amazing game. After two failed sequels (DMC2 had crappy gameplay, and DMC3 was as hard as getting a wife) DMC4 actually captured the spirit of the first DMC, which had balanced, but amazing gameplay. But there was a problem.

This brings me to why I called Dante a arrogant. It is very simple really. Because this is how capcom has decided to portray him.

The issue that I have with DMC4 isn't about its gameplay. It's about the story line. The story line and Character development is completely out of wack.

1- Dante keeps on spitting one liners during the whole game. After every brief action he would say something that is completely cheesy. And every time he enters some place he looks like he owns the place or something. You see him smiling all the time, which pisses me off. What happened to that cool character from DMC or DMC3? I have no idea.

2- Nero is an emo. He looks like a girl. Some times he tends to act arrogantly like Dante (look how he acts against the first boss).

3- what's up with all the women in the game? They all have abnormally big chests. whether it is a main character a demon or a random civilian, as long as she is a woman, she automatically has x-large chests.

4- The damsel in distress is a complete air head. Her brother just died an hour or so ago, but she was completely unconcerned towards the end of the game. She never even considered asking about him. WTF?!

5- And did I mention that Dante is arrogant?

So what do you think? is Dante a arrogant? Did you like DMC4? do you have any cool character in mind that was completely murdered by a gaming company?

and the whole thing with the women having x-large chest is so horny gamers get the game to see computerised VERY VERY VERY large breasts. take dead or alive volleyball for instant.

I completely agree. If this game was to be suitable for 13 year old gamers and under, shouldn't capcom reduce the suggestive themes? And incase it was made for people who are 17 year old and older, shouldn't the story and dialoug be better? It's even worse than a children's book! When you talk like this, you make me wonder... what did capcom do with devil may cry4?
