I used to love going to movies even more than gaming. Now, before The Hunger Games, the last movie I saw in the theater was Ghost Protocol. Going to the movies has gotten overpriced (especially with 3D movies costing $15-$20), unpleasant (EVERY time I've gone to the theaters, teenagers text on their phones, people yell at the screen or talk amongst themselves, the floor and seats are sticky and worn out, etc.), and inconvenient. Also, movies have become carbon copy derivatives of each other (maybe true for gaming too).

Therefore, I look forward more to BioShock Infinite than The Dark Knight Rises and The Avengers combined.

You're certainly right about teenagers specially the day of release for new movies. I also went to see The Hunger Games and was surprised at the cost $11.50. The last movie I saw at the theater was Ghost Protocol too I think but I remember paying less than that. You know its pretty creepy that you mention those 2 movies because those are probably the ones that I'm 100% sure I'm going to see next. Lastly I recently finished Bioshock 2 and I'm anticipating Infinite, but its not my most wanted for now.:|

Sure movies are expensive (I don't go to them often), but I find it worth it when you can hang out with a bunch of friends and see something as good as the Dark Knight Rises. And to be honest, I'm finding that the $60 for many games just isn't justified anymore.

I see what you mean. It is getting harder to justify going to a theater. Now I mostly just wait until it is released on Blu-ray.

The last great movie experience I had was seeing The Matrix in theatre and being blown away in awe. I've wasted a few dollars on bs flicks since then, overpriced movies, $13 a piece for tickets, $15 per person on food and drink, gas or carfare, and in the end it's not worth it. Especially with bedbug infestations everywhere, God knows what you're stepping on, dirty seats, annoying teenagers and crowds, I'd rather chill in the crib with some liquor and play a good game with a female or watch a flick online for free.

The last movie I saw at the Cinema was avatar and I was surprised I had to pay for the 3D glasses along with the additional cost of the ticket price. I usually only see movies that really are a must see like The Dark Knight Rises.

yeah, going to a 3D or Imax film is really expensive, get concessions and you're halfway to a video game, sometimes it's better just to skip some stuff, or wait until it hits my local $3 theater

TDKR: if your looking for a film you want to concentrate on, with good action and script

Avengers: For a fanbase film, see this,

BioShock Infinite: Sure this is a game coming out, if it is a film, it will be detailed if it wants to get good ratings and MAY be bad considering other films that have come from games.

Going to the theater isn't anything special for me either, both the movies are must sees but I can wait on them. I voted Bioshock because in the end i'm going to get a lot more entertainment out of it and I think i'm looking forward to it more.
