Dark Souls 2 or MGS Ground Zeros?

Ground Zeroes is over way to quickly and isn't the best place to start with that series IMO; start with MGS1.
I like the original Dark Souls far more than the sequel as well, but regardless get it instead as you'll gain much more gameplay value out of it

I really hate it when people value gameplay by length..... but its your steam card.....

I usually don't, but I'd like whatever game I get to last the month.

@Lulu_Lulu: I understand that. I will get MGS if I truly think I will enjoy it more than Dark Souls 2. However, I'd like to have something to play for the next month, rather than sit there staring at Steam and waiting for GTA to come online.

Dark Souls 2, i love metal gear and GZ but is quite short, is more like a demo for mgs 5, meanwhile with dark souls 2 you get a complete awesome game that will last you at least 20h.

ps Lulu is the local try hard troll, be advised he failed miserably because he couldn't get past the tutorial of dark souls 1 so all he does is talk bs about it without playing it.

Why only those 2 games?

MGS is supposed to be good but I hear it is extremely short so it may not be worth the money. Dark souls 2 seems like the safer bet if you liked dark souls, if you have not played dark souls 1, just buy that instead and with the left over money you can probably find some good dirt cheap or indie games on flash sale.

I really enjoyed dark souls 2 so recommending it.

get Dark Souls 2.. i would start at the beginning if youve never played MGS before

Ground Zeroes is great and all but you'll get more out of Dark Souls 2 so get that one and just wait for MGS: The Phantom Pain to come out.

Do you guys think there'll be an encore sale where Dark Souls 2 will go back down to 15 or wherever it was at a couple days ago?

probably, you would do well to wait until the steam sales are over.
