Gex is a good one, I loved that one on N64 where he was making fun of movies and that. Also Conker. And a new 2D Bonk for XBLA and PSN would be awesomeness. Lost Vikings on XBLA would be nice too.
I would really like to see a come-back of
Tomba
Heart of Darkness
Fighting Force (1 not 2)
SSX
Micro Machines
Legend of Dragoon
Legend of Legaia
Destruction Derby
Vigilante 8
Abe's Odyssey
Kula World
Hmm... I've been thinking for like 30 minutes and those are the only ones I could think of.
I would totally buy them in a heart beat.

A real Spyro 4. Spyro was dead once Insomniac sold the franchise after the PS1.MUSH_IS_PWNsI'm with you on this one.

Mostly PC games: X-Com, Star Control, Dungeon Keeper, Wing Commander, Silent Hunter V. I'd love to see Freedom Fighters 2 for the consoles, but I wouldn't consider that a dead franchise yet, more like a series put on the back burner for now.

Awesome. I was about to post many of the ones you mentioned.
I want another Wing Commander. A proper one. Not the blasphemy that is the XBL Arcade version.
I'd love to see how they'd treat a reboot of Ultima Underworld.

Ultima Underworld, what a great game that was. Oh yea, I'd love to see another Descent, with today's tech I'm sure they could do so much, and another Black and White would be great, although maybe that's on the way. Another Wing Commander sure would be sweet, maybe they could bring back Luke Skywalker. The Kilrathi must die!
EDIT: I'd KILL to see another X-Com. Not even a new one necessarily, I'd be happy with a remake with full physics and updated graphics, everything else about the game was pretty much flawless. It would be the one PC game I'd choose out of all of them, unfortunately it'll probably never happen.

Descent would be cool... or... even if just for XBL Arcade, a re-imagining of Magic Carpet.
And yes, X-Com is the best turn-based strategy game I've ever played to this day. I like it even more than FF Tactics or Advance Wars. The combination of base-building and resource-management and of course the turn-based combat. I don't see why the formula wasn't copied more.
I was even contemplating another Independence Wars. There's a game mechanic we don't see that often. At this point, gaming needs a shot in the arm.
Maybe we don't need brand new innovation. Maybe we just need to bring back old "innovations" and let people rediscover them.
oh WOW...i hadn't thought of that, a clay fighter remake would be amazing with todays technology...primal rage, killer instinct, clay fighters

Chrono Trigger/Cross are definitely in need of a sequel, though I am pessimistic about the chances of that happening any time soon.
Road Rash could also stand to be updated. I picked up Road Rash 3 the other day and the gameplay still holds up (though the graphics have aged very poorly).
[QUOTE="MrJack3690"]Oh, I forgot about that game! That was definitely a favorite ha.RoadKill
loved it, wish there was a sequel
Mrha
haha wow I honestly didn't think anybody would even recognize it, i'm surprised it didn't get more well known though. Not sure if everybody else liked it but I loved the game personally
The last console F-Zero game was realeased in 2003. It really needs to come to the Wii.
Another Mario RPG/Paper Mario game. (I didn't care for Super Paper Mario, I liked the game better as a more traditional RPG)
I would also buy a new Gauntlet game in an instant. So long as it wasn't like Seven Sorrows.

If you want that type of gameplay, just check out one of the bajillion iterations of dynasty warriors.
