I only recently got interested in Dead Space, and I have to say; it looks awesome! Its really one of my most anticipated games of this year. When I heard that EA was making though, I was surprised. It didn't change my excitment about the game but my thoughts on EA. For a long time I saw them as a company that releases shiny games that really don't deliver anything new in the gameplay section but Dead Space is something completly original in every aspect.
Dead Space seems to have tons of great ideas behind it: stratigic dismemberment to kill enemies and smart audio that changes depending on where you go and what you do just sounds so cool and diiferent for an EA game, could this mean that EA is changing its ways? I really started thinking about EA after they bought Bioware and it seems that they are keeping their promise to let the creative people work on the creative stuff while they fund it all. Could this be a new EA- one that has the ability to fund games like no other and is willing to let the creators do what they do best?
