Devil May Cry or Prince Of Persia

Which series do you guys like more? and why?

I prefer Prince of Persia more, because I really the art work, story, and overall feeling of the game. I also like devil may cry games, especially the first one. Dante really is a cool character and he knows how to kick butts. But sometimes I really can't stand his over self-esteem.(dmc3) Both games are great, but If i had to pick one i would go with Prince Of Persia. How about u guys?

Prince of Persia Sands of Time is better than any of the Devil May Cry games combined but Devil May Cry 1 and 3 are better than Warrior Within and Two Thrones. Devil May Cry 2 sucked and Devil May Cry 4 was average. The new Prince of Persia was good and I liked it more than Devil May Cry 3.

in general, i like both franchises. the dmc series features my favorite gave of the group (dmc3) while i like the pop series more as a whole (the dmc series just feels stagnant nowadays).

its still kind of an odd comparison. if i were to judge dmc as a platformer, id rate it pretty poorly and id do the same to pop if i were to judge it as a 3rd person action game (though admittedly less so).

these are two very different games when you look at the target market.

Devil May Cry goes for that "OMG,that was ****ing AWESOME" kind of thing

appealing more to the manga/anime lover which is visible in the style of characters

and weapons.

Prince Of Persia is more game related the wow factor is in the gameplay, character

moves and storyline, a bit influence by tomb raider.

DMC 4 sold me: Capcom optimized the code for both Direct-X 10 and 64-bit Windows.:)

Compared as single games I like DMC 1 + 3 more than any PoP title.

Compared as whole series: The 3 1/2 PoP games (1/2 since the new one doesn't really belong into there and there's not even a prince found in that game) never disappointed me while DMC 2 + 4 were rather ungreat.

As a series, I definitely prefer Devil May Cry. But PoP2008 is definitely a game I much prefer to the entire set of games from both series.
