I've heard that Blizzard might actually be announcing a brand new game that isn't either of their main franchises. Then again, seeing Diablo III might actually be the more logical choice. Plus, I wouldn't mind another clickfest on an epic scale...

Their last IP got canned when Blizzard North was "relocated", dunno if they'll try that again.
Ive never much seen the appeal in the diablo games, though Ive loved pretty much all of Blizzards other titles so I cant say Im super hyped (also seeing as quite a few of the diablo gameplay elements are leaking in World of Warcraft). Having seen Starcraft II though Im phsyched just at the thought of a new game, even if it is Diablo III. The more games the better. Who knows what it will be, two days to go!That news does seem plausible/logical though.
Seriously, this is awesome. I just hope it has a bit more depth than simply charge through the level, ninjaloot, repeat, rip some newbie off, and then go farm Mephisto again.
Whoever said adding a Champions of Norrath element to it, they got it right, don't make it a chug potion mash buttonfest.
