Did anyone find Bubble Bobble for the NES as amazing as I did?

When I was growing up, all I had was an NES until about 2 years after the N64 came out. With that in mind, I played Bubble Bobble atleast once a day for almost 5 years straight. There was something about putting enemies in bubbles and stomping on them, which then turned them into food and crystals. I recently played it again, and it brought back so many memories as a kid, and I honestly had trouble stopping playing to do something else. Did anyone else find that game as amazing as I did? I mean I had all the mario games and multiple other games when I grew up, its just BB was the best in my eyes!

I feel you! I loved Bubble Bobble, played a lot of it with a friend of mine. We would play nearly everyday after school. We actually bought the Live version a few months ago and played the **** out of it.

Yup, Bubble Bobble Neo, great revision of the original, some new modes, updated visuals, achievements...

Unfortunately no online co-op (don't know if they've patched that in since release, I guess not). But the game is still as fun as it was back then.

One of my favorite NES games ever.

I would go to my friends house to play it all the time growing up.

Yep, there's local multiplayer. There's also competitive online multiplayer, which really wasn't that good. Co-op is where the fun is.

I really enjoyed it when I had it for the master system and I loved playing it in the arcades along with Snow Bros.

Bubble Bobble is one of the funnest and unique games I've ever played, let alone appealing. C'mon, admit it, it's adorable. :P I'm going to be buying it here soon. But yes, there is an XBLA version, it's called Bubble Bobble Neo, and it's just as much fun as the original, but with updaded graphics and an extra mode, with the ability for four player.
