I was at gamestop yesterday and saw metal gear solid twin snakes for 35 dollars used and didn't buy it, did I make a mistake when I didn't buy it or did I make the right choice?

Depends on the condition, if it was with the original casing and the manual. But for that price, sounds about right for a used copy. Haven't seen one in a store in ages though.

it did have the original casing, don't know about the manual
I remember a few years ago there were quite a few copies for 20 dollars
depends , on the following, original casing? condition of the disc it self
and if you cant find it on ebay cheaper
well, im not sure about the US, but here in the UK, it usually goes for £25-£30, which is 42$ US, so maybe you should have gotten it.....
Just FYI: The forums are shared. There are only one or two forums specifically for the Australian and the UK site. The rest are the same.$35 american or australian? im on the .au gamespot so i will assume australian in which yes it was. it goes for over $100 on ebay here as it is really rare.

I sold it about a year ago for $40 on half.com. But it was also in perfect condition. Not a huge loss, the game is fun albeit way too easy, especially if you played the original (which I did not at the time I bought it). My second time through the game on hard took 2 hours and 40 minutes.
no you did not make something stupid and you didnt DO something stupid by not buying it. If you REALLY wanted the game you would have bought it. Just buying a game because it's "cheaper than usual" is dumb if u ask me. Buy a game to enjoy, just dont get ripped off because a game is in mint or something. Sometimes i buy games because they are like $5 or less and I know the game isnt complete garbage. but i rarely spend more than $20 on any game (legacy or current gen)
