by this i mean that when you started playing multiplayer games online either on pc, got xbox live, ps3 online ect. did you find urself playing multiplayer games only for a long period of time and not playing any single player games campaign cause it was new to you?

and how long til you got back into single player?

ive noticed it in myself, i got my xbox live hooked up 2 months ago and have only been playing COD games online and stopped playing single player games. i wanna go back soon cause i wanna finish Batman: AA

Yeah it happened to me once when I was playing GTA IV and I stayed on it for 2 hours until I got frustrated with my internet connection.

Oh ho ho... No... :P

First time I got into multiplayer was years ago- back when I had a mere modem connection (56K- potentially worse actually...)!

So it took me MANY years to really get into multiplayer.

So- in the field of 'making me stop playing a single player campaign for ages on end', AI skirmishes beat multiplayer to the punch... :P

The irony... :D ("So wait- single player drew you away from another aspect of itself?" :P Basically... )

I still haven't discovered the appeal of online multiplayer. The last thing I want to deal with are glitchers, hackers, people who exploit game design (though developers should be doing better here) and an obnoxious number of people swearing and insulting each other.
