I don't know if the DiRT demo is avaible for download for the 360, but if it is, can anyone tell me how good it looks in comparison to the PC version?

Here are a bunch of pics from the PC version maxed out.

Edit: Link fixed :D

Apparently, this game doesn't utilize dual-cores and is CPU intensive, so it takes a beefy PC to run it.

I have played the Xbox360 demo for a while, and it is about the same as my PC on maxed out. The 360 version lags sometimes, but so does my PC, which isnt a cheap one to builid! :)

I think the 360 will have a better framerate when shipped, like F1, which was completely different in the final (wow it was 2x better).  Still, the graphics, especially in the cockpit view is Awsome!!  too bad the controls are disappointing...eh?

Well I am actually planning to buy a quite beefy PC in the near future, and since the graphical differences aren't huge then I might go for the PC version.  Thanks for the link.

Yea, I was totally disappointed by the controls. After having played the Forza 2 demo they just felt really bad in comparison. The way everything breaks is quite cool, though.

I've put a lot of time into the demo on 360 and haven't seen any slowdown at all, even in chaotic crash filled buggy races. I'm very excited for this game.

The early review version on the 360 that I tried, suffered from some very steep framerate dips. Apparently they fixed some of that in the final review version. Any framerate problems that remain, should be worse in the PC version.

Usually at the start, if you're in front and look behind you and see all the other cars, the framerate drops for obvious reasons (so much geometry onscreen). :)

I do know that is looks Spanking maxed out at 1650 x 1024 and on ultra settings. You wont be getting those resolutions on the 360xb. Be aware though, this game needs a mega graphics card to run and it does NOT support SLI so you are going to need A 8800gtx to run it maxed at perfect frame rates. I have  2x 8800 GTS's and i have to switch the SLI off to play the demo. And even then to run it in native resolution of 1650 x 1024 i have to turn down bits and bobs. Im afraid not supporting SLI rigs sucks!
