DMC Is an awesome game!

I just finished DMC a couple days ago and i thoroughly enjoyed it.

I cant believe fickle DMC fans turned away from it. I always was kind of interested in the DMC series but never bought any of them becuase of the cheesy undertones. But i love the direction the new one took and even prefer new EMO dante compared to old GOTH dante (even though i hate this culture in reality)

level design was stunning, charicters were beliveable and the story seemed more meaningful than the older games.

The game is just drenched in style and attitude and its suits it perfectly.

people mildly interested in hack and slash games should really pick this up especially as it can be found cheap now anyway.

O and i love Ninja Theory's previous works!

I enjoyed it. Not as much as DMC3 + DMC4, sure, but it was good.

Well the gameplay IS good, Dante's fighting style, what made his games very strong in the first place remains absolutely unchanged.

What most fans where p***ed off about was that they turned him from a stoic, cool, guy that was no fun to mess with if you end up on his enemy list into....well THAT THING in DmC

NInja Theory was another big turn off for the game. That's the only reason I didn't want to play it. Otherwise, I still want to play it quite badlyBlabadon

Why is Ninja Theory a "turn off"? They've had like one bad game for original Xbox but both of their current gen titles (Heavenly Sword and Enslaved) were pretty decent games. DMC actually reminded me a lot of Heavenly Sword in the quality of the mo-cap and acting before I realized that they were made by the same developers.

Not really. You can't even use Vergil in Bloody Palace...how could this oversight happen?

The older games (mainly DMC3) may suck camera and artstyle-wise but the gameplay is still unmatched because an actual good developer made them, called Hideki Kamiya. Ninja Theory can go die in a ditch.

The combat was excellent but I didn't like the change in style

I like Ninja Theory I enjoyed Heavenly Sword and Enslave but I've yet to play DMC. I've been waiting for a price drop. Nothing against NT but Capcom has pissed me off in the past with their DLC policies. I've been waiting for it to hit the $30 price range.

Dante was a ridiculous characature of an arrogant tool, so grounding the series with better writing and more relatable characters was not something I considered to be a negative change.
