Does the games have to be in perfect condition to sell, trade games to gamespot, can it be in good condition. Whenever I buy a used game it seems to always be in perfect condition.

I've never bought a used game in perfect condition from GameStop. And actually, they have a policy where employees can actually open up and play new games, and then sell them as "new". I think my copy of RE4 Wii Edition was one of those, and maybe Super Mario Galaxy and MP3, as well. It's something many people loathe and have sworn off being a customer there for.
But to answer your question, no, the discs do not have to be in perfect condition. I don't know if they try loading the games up at the store to see if the discs work or not, though. Are you wanting the money or are you doing a trade? If you're going for money, try looking around and pricing your stuff, then sell it to the final buyer so there isn't a middleman who needs to be paid.
I'm going for a trade, I wanna get Mass Effect..&..Assassin's Creed. I got a whole bunch of untouched games.
