Lately I've been more interested in scores though. Don't really care about my personal K/D if my team won the match and I know I contributed.

If only everybody in Team / Objective Based matches would know this and play like it *SIIIIIGH*It's true. I've had a fantastic experience with Battlefield 3 and Bad Company 2 on the PS3, as far as community goes. I've had hit and miss community experiences on Killzone 2 & 3. The rest are like CoD it seems.
For example, I won several games in Capture the Flag in Black Ops II yesterday because, well, I'm pretty sure I was the only one going for the flag. Too bad too, as I really like Black Ops II so far.
Same deal with me. I mostly play objective-based matches, so i focus on the objective.
At the moment i've been playing a fair amount of domination and demolition in Black Ops 2 and usually end up with the highest score but fewest kills and most deaths because i persistently attack the objectives.
Yet, sadly, it seems the majority of the people playing COD and similar games treat objective-based matches as if they were team deathmatch or something, ignoring the objective so they can camp somewhere and get a 20+ killstreak. They end up losing the match though.
