I used to love gaming at night. Hell I even stayed up till almost 3 to finish Xenosaga. Seems lately, though, I just lost the interest to game at night, like I'm almost too tired to want to play anything past 10.
play mostly at the night after 11...In the weekends, I usually play in the afternoon but depends on what other things I have to do on a particular day.
I like playing games at night. It gives me more time to myself without worries of being interrupted. Playing at night also helps me play games like Silent Hill or Fatal Frame in a more suitable environment.
I'm the exact same as dvader654 during the day I'm with my family or not at the house. But at night time when everyone goes to bed instead of playing on the small tv in my room, for new games i get I always bring my 360 upstairs and i play on the HDTV, I'm definitely going to be playing GTA IV upstairs on the plasma cant pass up the hd experience.
I love night gaming! On Fridays and Saturdays, I'll generally start at 10-11 and stay up til 2-ish gaming and then watching something on NBC or Fox.com.
EDIT: Anyone else get food with them for night gaming? I'll usually heat up some leftovers or make toast or an english muffin or something.
I have been known to enjoy the afternoon game as well though. Mornings sometimes, but not so much since I'm not really a morning person in general.
Yes, gaming at night feels great. I actually don't know why, but it feels great, IMO. :) And no, i never bring things to eat while gaming - but it's still a good idea! I should try it.

Ooh! Rainy day gaming wrapped in a blanket with some sort of food is the best. Gotta be careful to wipe your hands off so you don't get your mouse and keyboard greasy though.
i absolutely love gaming at night i think its the most relaxing time of all to game, during the day im wanting to be outside more and hang out with my friends but trust me ill stay up all night easily on a game. as for next week im going in 7 days fir the grand theft auto 4 launch and grabbing my copy in 7 days! so im going to have PLENTY (as in for the rest of the year till the next comes out) of all niters and probably all day playing sessions cant wait!

Since I work nights, I have the tendency to play games in the morning, or during the afternoon. Even on my days off, it just seems like I'd rather relax watching TV or a Movie rather than play most of the time.
I enjoy gaming and watching movies at night as opposed to during the day. It just seems that during the day I'm doing other stuff such as hanging out with friends and family, maybe doing homework, or on the computer. Although I do play during the day, I enjoy it more at night because well, it's night time and I prefer that over day, in most cases.
I quit my job like 3 days ago.. And I notice at day im jus sittin around watchin t.v, telling myelf "I wanna go play some xbox.." but i dont act on that urge till night time.. Idk, i've always played at night time.. Also all my xbox live friends play at night.. So idk, im more a night time gamer myself i guess.. :) Plus, theres not much to do during the night besides play video games or sleep.
I actually do most of my gaming in the afternoon. I'm an incredible night owl, and I work from home, so I'm most alert between like ten pm and two am. I tend to game in the afternoon which is the laziest part of the day for me and then do work at night when I'm really sharp. Then in the really late night I come on GameSpot and haunt the forums. ;)
I'm an incredibly nocturnal person, so yeah, most of the gaming I do is done late at night. It definitely adds to the effect when playing horror games.
Back in the day, when adventures were still alive, I would close the door to my room, pour myself a light drink and click away until late in the night. Civilization was also very good for that.
Since I'm currently unemployed, I enjoy gaming in the day. Another reason is that my pops has a hatred for video games and thinks their a waste of time and an abomination. So I pretty much don't play when he's around which is during the day when he's at work.
Damn bro you need to get your own room seperate from everyone like me. I like to game any time...but I do my thing @ night because I work a 9-5 basically. On weekends I still tend to game @ night. I mostly play online and thats when everyone is online. Back in the SOCOM days on PS2 I used to play during the morning-night. same with command and conquer RA. But now gaming @ night just seems the thing to do after work I either chill with friends or go to the Gym. I love eating..getting niice while gaming its the best. Have the night with my girl and after we finish i'll get on the PS3 for a few :D

I also did it in college with Medieval Total War. My roommate would hear the sound effects and roll over and say, "Would you stop with the assassinations already, it's 4am!" :P
I don't play at night. Not because I sceared after mmm Stalker,... after such a night I am as a alien in my home, good sleep - good game I must say) But, I've play a lot around 8-10 pm, in the evening, and it's my favour! Yeah baby!
Playing at night is great! I usually like to play between 11pm and 1am. It's nice because there's no interuptions, and a two hour session is a nice length of time for a good play.
I'll game at any time during the day, but I feel guilty if the sun is up also there is more chance of a distraction such as class or a phone call from someone to go do something. At night if I someone hasn't called with thoughts on something to do by 9PM I know it's safe to pull out the Playstation without interruptions.
My only problem is that sometimes I get really tired early for no reason and fall asleep playing...
I'm usually too tired to game at night.Along with that,there are few games that I've played that made me want to lose sleep over.I recall Starcraft being the only game that I stayed up until 3 AM playing.
