I feel like that. That's why I don't play games very long. I don't feel like getting started, but when I do I have alot of fun. Anyone else have this problem?

Yup, I get this all the time. Then again, I think its anxiety about what if I end up not liking the game. I know, I'm really screwed in the head.

For the longest time I wouldn't want to play my 360 because I hated starting up the system and starting the game, even though it only takes like 2 minutes. I'm weird I guess.

Yeah, happens to me all the time. I get worried about how much time I'm about to sink into it.

I get this if i'm in a bit of a rubbish mood. Sometimes the effort to actually fire up the console and actually decide what you want to play is just too much. Or maybe i'm just lazy.

I have bought games and left them sitting for awhile. I want to play them, but I never feel like starting them. I also worry whether the money I spent was worth it or not.

Lately I dont feel like playing games even though I want to. And when I do play them I end up quitting after 10 minutes. I need to buy a new game but I can't afford to right now and I guess im getting bored with the ones I have.

My problem with being anxious about starting a game is that i'll get caught up and stop playing other games or just lose track of time. Every time i play Dragon Age, half the day goes by.

Same here... I really like buying games, put them in a neat pile, getting hyped reading the news... but when it comes to playing them... I like to start them all... but lately I have been stopping midway through the game... too many long games... (FFXIII comes to mind...)

I sometimes don't want to play games, as I'm just not in the mood for it and I'll do something else instead. But 80% of the time, I'm in the mood for games.

I felt the same way when I bought Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening... I should've left it in the box.

I sorta have that issue. I have all mygames by my tv andwhen I go tograb one I end up sitting there waiting to decide, only to pick one up, then decide against it. Then I pick another one up only to change my mind again. Once I get started i'mfine, but it does occasionally become an issue, mainly with which one to play.

Amen. I would've traded mine in, but I know Gamestop would rape me. So now it just sits there, and I can't even force myself to play it for achievements!

SAME THING HERE. I just dont see the appeal to start playing but when i do i am having fun. Basicly it feels like games dont attract you into playing them anymore.

There are plenty of times when I just don't want to start playing games. Lately I haven't had that problem though since I've gotten some newer games to keep me occupied. I'll also be working on a large backlog this summer, so I kinda have to force myself to play games.
