do you guys think i'll enjoy Resident Evil 1,2 and 3 if i didn't like 4 ?

re4 is very linear its pretty hard to get lost

if you jump into the other Res theres no way you'll enjoy or beat it without a guide

Quite possibly, although I cannot guarantee it. 4 is very different from the previous games in the series - and not even considered a proper, worthy sequel by some (possibly including myself, but I haven't played it).

The original for the PlayStation (and the Saturn) and Code Veronica is where it's at!

Not to sound confrontational but, if RE:4 had too much wandering around for you then you should drop the idea of ever playing a survival horror game, RE:4 hardly even counts as one and you seem to bothered by the most common element. Unless what you really hated was the Los Gonades. In which case the other games are worth a shot. (They have Zombies)

There is a good chance you will; I know a lot of people who didn't care for RE4 because of its departure from the traditional RE gamplay and plot. I know for me personally RE through RECV are by far my favorites. I did like RE4, but it was far less enjoyable then itspredecessors.Shenmue_Jehuty
