Do you hang on to everygame you buy? Or do you trade in or sell it the minute you finish it?

I personally hang on to them. Unless it turns out to be terrible, then I'll trade it in.

Keep them, sometimes I sell them (if I need more money for a new game), sometimes I give them to younger family members.

Ive never got rid of a game since i stared with my 360. If you get rid of them , youll always want to go on them at some time. (Plus its nice having a big old stack o' games next to your console :P

I generally keep them but I've sold so many games in the past but I do try to hold onto them. My general rule is I hold onto all triple AAA games and sell the few that I realize I'm not going to miss. Although since I bought a 360, I've tried to hold onto the really good games. I always find that whenever I do re-cycle a great game, it's only a matter of time before I wish I hadn't sold it.

Lol, I have only ever sold what must be one game, the reason I remember so well is because I never sell or give any of my games away... that game would be Robot Wars: Arena Of Destruction (I think those are the correct words...) for the PS2 way back when.

I used to sell all my games. Then when I got out of college and had a bit of disposable income, I spent forever buying them all again. Now I don't sell anything, though I'll probably start trimming the collection a little bit. No need for NHL 07, 08, and 09.

I try to keep my total collection under 10 for my PS3.

I have 6 games now and these are the ones I've sold so far and I'll give you a reason:

MGS4 (I know alot of you are OMGing but it wasn't that great. Online was stupid and hard to sign up for. Story was alright. Graphics were beautiful though. I was done with the game)

Assassins Creed (the game was cool and the story was alright not much to do after beating the game and collecting flags was boring, no replayability, stupid thing is I bought the game because I missed it, regretted it:never buy a game twice) I'll probably do the same with the sequel

Uncharted (great six-ten hour game, should've rented, no interest in collecting all treasures) I'll probably do the same with the sequel

Star Wars: TFU (Disappointment Unleashed, Hype Unleashed)

I never trade/sell my games after I've finished them. I KNOW whether or not I'll like the game in the first place before buying it (reviews, previews etc), so usually games I get are not disappointments, thus making me keep all my games.

I don't trade them in anymore, but if I no longer want a game I'll ebay it. At least I'll get the most out of it as opposed to trading it in on the cheap. I rarely sell my games unless it is god awful or I'm depserate for money, which hasn't happened for awhile. I've been researching a lot more lately to make sure I'm buying a good game.

Never sold any of my games. Never know when I'd get the craving to replay one of the games(which always happens). Not worth the hassle to sell them.

There are some games I have parted with, and some I'll NEVER let go of(you know, the ones that you find for $80 on ebay). It really depends, but of my collection over the past 20 years I'd say I have parted with maybe %20 of it.

I give them a few more tries until I finally say "Forget it" and turn them into a few spare bucks, which then turns into a snack.

At 31 with bills and responsibility and being in a lower income bracket, I have to trade in games to get new ones. And as long as I have beat the game I do not regret it. The only games I refuse to get rid of are things like the GTA series, or the elder scrolls. the types of games you can beat multiple times and still not seen or done everything, and have elements to still have fune even when you have.

I keep just about everything, I did trade back Civ Revolution though after picking up all the achievements. It was still worth $40 to me, which means I got an extended rental out of it and the strategy and such was messed up anyhow... But most times I keep everything I buy. I go back to the good ones every so often anyhow.

I always keep my game because I know there will be a time that I would probably want to venture back into it somewhere down the line. Selling it to me really isn't a choice because most of the time you really don't get much in return so hanging on to the game is definitely a more viable option for me, and maybe giving it to me sibling when I have no interest for it anymore.

Desperation and having no money are great motivations for trading your games away. Then the regret comes afterwards. But sometimes, the trade value is so good it's worth it. I'm glad my most recent trading binge came out positively. I have no regrets even though I got rid of some precious collections.

I trade/sell all my console games when I'm done with them. When I'm ready to sell the console, all the games I currently own for it I sell with it.

I keep all my PC games.

I keep mine, unless they turn out to be terrible. If I buy one new I try and play it or beat it within 30 days if its bad, then just get a full refund ;)

If it's good i'll keep it but if its bad I just return it.

I wish I kept all of my consoles and games, but when the new console comes out, I trade it in. That being said, I never get rid of my games from the same generation. I like to have a good library.

I keep every game I buy, including the packaging and box. Even the little advertising papers that come with them. Does not matter if the game sucks or not, it's still nice to keep in my collection. Still have all the original stuff for games like Baldur's Gate 2, Wizardry 8, Heroes of Might and Magic 2 and 3, etc.

I keep all my games nowadays, but back when PS2 games were cheap and you actually got your money's worth for trading them it, I used to.
