I don't. Almost none of my friends play video games, so I'm kind of alone in that regard. Some games have terrific local multiplayer, like Super Smash Bros. It's fun to play at parties. Do you guys ever play local multiplayer and/or co-op?

Yep, I have kids. Play with them a few times a week. They like Smash Bros, Mario 3D World, ARMS, Fire Emblem Warriors. Nintendo thankfully keeping split-screen alive. Been quite a while since I've had friends over for video games though.

Quite rare but yeah, when a gathering happens local multiplayer tends to be quite popular.

Yes I play a lot of multiplayer games not as much co-op except a lot in World of Warcraft.
