I think that it used to be $12 a month or something for 1 game out at a time, but I looked again and now it is $15.95 according to the site.

It's worth it until you get caught up on all the newest releases, but it's not worth it just to play old games imo.

I tried and didn't care for it. Reason being I collect games, and do a lot of research on upcoming games for fun. When I had a subscription I just ended up briefly playing a lot of games I really didn't want to play. Gamefly helped me realize that the games I buy already are the only games I truly want to play. I mean, I'd rent something like Cooking Mama just to try it out and then return it thinking, "No thanks."

No, it's too expensive. Netflix would put them out of buisness if they started offering games and didn't change their prices or added like $5 a month for video games.

I enjoyed it when it had it, as it was a good service. However, I used it to catch up on different older games I had missed.
Liked stated earlier, it's easy to get caught up in new releases and multiplayer and then you're paying 15$ for a disc to sit on your coffee table.

Yes, you can play the shi* games the press tells you to play and not feel like you've been cornholed when you realize they led you astray for the 10,000th time. Then you can play some other games and find out that what appeals to you and what appeals to those who are beholden to other interests before you might be completely different. And if they aren't, you still don't have to feel bad.

It's a win/win situation. :)

I'd rather use that $15.95 and buy a game (or games) instead and get to keep them. No thanks.

It's good if you have alot of time to play, and shred thru games fast.

For someone like me it doesn't work.

I take forever to play thru games.

No. I can buy brand spanking new game ( titles that have been out for a while ) for the same price.

Plus if you find out you want to purchase the game then you ended up renting & buying it which means you spent more money on it than you had to. It's a waste.

Just go to your local Best Buy & you can find great games to purchase for the same amount of money you would have spent renting them.

If you have another rental place nearby, it's probably cheaper to go there. Gamefly is slow too.

Do they still only ship from the west coast? I remember reading that they were going to have a new warehouse or something for suscribers in the east.

For a lot of people, I know its really helpful, but for me, no. I figure out which games are good by reading reviews of ign and amazon and from watching gameplay. if a game is crappy, you can easily find out on the internet.

I had it for a while in the summer. I live in Seattle and they have a factory near by. Even with that, games would still take a long time to deliver, some took 4-5 days.

If you have a local family viedo or something like that near by not really. They aren't that fast at getting games out

I liked having it because I played games I wouldn't have normally played because of not wanting to pay full price. The only downside for me was I sped through some games to get to the next games and didn't really take the time to enjoy some of them.

It's worth it if you do not care how long it takes to get a game.
